Climate change and social justice: the personal link

If you are interested in a personal link between climate change, carbon emissions and social justice, come to tomorrow night's (Thursday 24th) Oxfam Australia talk at Belgrave Library.
Selby resident, Andrew Flint combines credentials in environment, social justice and business. Spurred by his involvement in aid projects in Tanzania and Karen refugee camps on the Thai-Burma border, Andrew and partners have formed a company called Carbon Communities, and are about to launch its website.
The company provides a channel for linking voluntary carbon emmissions trading to environmental projects in Africa and Australia, by providing the training and funds to create tree plantations, fuel-efficient stoves, solar powered lights and more. All of which improves everyone's well-being.
Have a look at the informative new website:
and join us to hear Andrew speak at
8-9pm (followed by coffee and a planning meeting)
this Thursday, 24th July
