The Basin Music Festival

Come to the great Oxfam World Music Cafe at the Basin Music Festival, Saturday & Sunday 12 & 13 April.
On Saturday from 5 till 7.30 pm, we present a string of world music performers, all of whom live locally. Included are singers from East Timor, Chile, The Basin(!), the lively Vox Congo and classical Hindu dancers from the temple literally around the corner in The Basin.

Catering will be Fair Trade coffee & chocolate and Hindu finger food.
Entry is only $10, which gives access to the folk clubs' combined night following.

On Sunday, all outdoor events are free. Oxfam Australia will be selling coffee and our famous cakes, and campaigning on Close the Gap, with a special activity of Aboriginal face painting for children (or anyone.)

The festival is a lively emerging community event. Come!
